PADI Rescue Diver
The Ultimate Rescue Course
Serious fun. You learn a pile of skills, most of which you hope you will
never use. It's a demanding and challenging course. You'll love it.
Virtually all who take this course cite it as one of the most rewarding courses
they have taken. Though challenging, you don't have to be an athlete - you learn
rescue techniques suited to your physical characteristics and fitness level.
During the Rescue Diver course you learn to refine and
further develop your accident prevention and handling skills, plus learn to
manage an emergency if you're ever faced with one. Good things to know!
At some point you may decide to make diving a full or part-time profession.
The Rescue Diver Course is a must-have before taking the Dive Master plunge.
Note: Emergency First Response training in First Aid and CPR is a
pre-requisite. Current First Aid and CPR training from other sources are
acceptable.

Please meet at PG Dive for the first weekend of
training. We have scheduled two full days for class and pool training,
so you can comfortably practice the skills before hitting the ocean.
Remember to read the manual and answer the knowledge review questions at
the end of each chapter. There is a final exam, so read carefully! The
dive location will be determined based on the weather closer to the
time. Have a good nights rest before the dives and eat a lot of pasta!
